Led by CEO Blane Larson, The Rookery is the centerpiece of a plan to create a medical device commercialization hub on Buffalo’s East Side. Based on Larson’s experience running a similar company in Minnesota, The Rookery helps medical device startups commercialize their products, from initial R&D all the way through manufacturing for large-scale clinical trials. The Rookery is based in the Red Shed building on Northland Avenue, and its longterm plan is to expand into adjacent facilities as the business grows.
