Received $2.25 million from the WNY Impact Investment Fund over the course of three investmentsCleanFIber moved to Buffalo after winning an investment from the 43North competition. The company's idea was simple to state but hard to execute: turn recycled cardboard into high-quality building insulation.With the support of the WNY Impact Investment Fund, that vision led CleanFiber to a formerly abandoned Bethlehem Steel building off Route 5, where it now employs more than 80 people as it expands throughout the U.S.
