City & State is the latest publication to recognize the work the WNY Impact Investment Fund is doing in its hometown.

The New York City-based media organization named Fund CEO Tom Quinn to its latest Economic Development Power 100 list. The statewide list is dedicated to individuals who are reimagining and rebuilding economies. In the words of City & State, it honors “economic leaders who are reminding the world that if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.”

Tom was named the Fund’s founding CEO in April 2017 after a successful career that spanned startups and corporations. He has spearheaded its successful fundraising efforts and built a business model around its impact investment ethos. That business model has led to national recognition in such places as Forbes and The Foundation Review.

Tom is a passionate advocate for the community, mentoring many entrepreneurs and budding civic leaders. His work with the Fund is a way to create a more robust and equitable economy in Western New York, ultimately leaving it a better place to live, work and raise children.

The WNY Impact Investment Fund has made 20 investments totaling $10.4 million since it debuted in 2017.
